IGN Brings Us First Late Night Preview From Gamescom
IGN has posted the first proper preview (as far as I’m aware) of
The Sims 3 Late Night, as part of their Gamescom coverage:
Heading into the downtown areas of the city will let you
explore a section of town filled with skyscrapers and loft
apartments. Accessing these swanky living spaces can be done via
elevators, and once you’re up to the right floor you can poke
around the pad and maybe walk out onto the balcony where a hot
tub is installed, complete with color-changing lights.
EA has posted a news article on TheSims3.com giving us a “sneak
peek” at The Sims 3 Late Night:
The Sims 3 Late Night is set to be a more mature and
realistic look at the night scene in a more urban environment.
Instead of experiencing pre-determined set pieces that players
would inevitably see over and over, it’s more of a playground of
possibility and intrigue.
Poll Results: Which is your favourite profession in The Sims 3
Ambitions?
Yes, it’s true – your eyes are not deceiving you. I really am
closing a poll without extending it once. And it’s thanks to you lot
for actually bothering to vote in good time. So thank you.
Right, yes – results. I asked you this: Which is your favourite
profession in The Sims 3 Ambitions? There was a tie – both Stylist
and Investigator got about 17%. Meanwhile 26% are still unsure
whether to actually get Ambitions or not. Click below to see
the results in full and comment on them:

If a poll has ended, another must have begun, and so it has. What
I want to know this time is whether anyone else thinks that the name
of the newest expansion pack, The Sims 3 Late Night, sounds like it
should have “Stuff” at the end. I’ve nearly called it The Sims 3
Late Night Stuff in the past, and have seen another website go
further and actually publish a news article calling it that. So,
vote to the right of any page – it’s a simple yes or no with this
one.

Go Behind The Scenes Of Fast Lane Stuff
In New Video
EA has released a new video allowing you to go behind the scenes
of The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff. Some of the people behind the game
(including Grant Rodiek, natch) discuss the cars included, plus
there’s some first game footage:
