It looks like Barnacle Bay will soon be available on a disk, plus another Outdoor Living Stuff screenshot surfaced

Barnacle Bay To Be Sold At Retail?

It looks like Barnacle Bay, the town made available to purchase from The Sims 3 Store, will soon be available at retail too - at least in the US. Both Amazon.com and GameStop have listings for it, priced at $19.99 with a release date of 8th March. The description on Amazon.com suggests you get some additional items included:

The Barnacle Bay Retail Pack includes premium content! Buccaneer’s Bounty Set Exclusive and All-New architectural items

Another Outdoor Living Stuff Screenshot Shows Eating, Hot Tub-ing

After playing “unlock the photo” with its Facebook followers (in which a ridiculous number of people (in this case 7000) have to “like” an incomplete photo before they’ll post the whole thing), EA has posted another new The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff screenshot. This one shows Sims barbecuing and eating the resulting food, while some other Sims relax in a hot tub. Click below to view it.

During This Fortnight: 2008

The Sims 2 FreeTime was announced (or rather officially announced - we actually already knew about it). This led to a fair bit of news about the new expansion - a comic strip and a music video were released, plus this interesting video was posted on YouTube:

Is this real footage from the game, we pondered.

Less exciting was the announcement of the ridiculously-long-named The Sims 2 Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff.
