A new poll has finally begun, some new images were released for both Master Suite Stuff and Showtime, and another live event was announced

New Poll: Are you annoyed about EA introducing the new social features to The Sims 3?

I've finally been able to start a new poll. I’ve seen some people around the internet annoyed at EA for adding social features to The Sims 3 at the time of Showtime’s release (as part of a base game update) — are you one of them? Or are you fine with it? Excited even? Vote now to the right of any page. The poll will close with the results revealed on Tuesday 28th February as long as enough votes have been received by then.

See Master Suite Stuff Items Go From Concept To Game, Plus New Showtime Screenshot

EA UK has posted some new images on their The Sims 3 Facebook page showing the concepts of some The Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff items together with their final in-game form. Check ‘em out by clicking here:

Showtime Live Event Announced

A live preview event for The Sims 3 Showtime has been announced. Hosted by Senior Game Designer Aaron Conners, it will take place in less than two days, on Thursday 26th January at 10 am PST, which is 6 pm GMT/UTC:

Starting at 10:00 a.m. PST, we’ll treat gamers to a special look at the newest expansion coming for The Sims 3. Conners will share gameplay techniques, demo the all-new SimPort feature and show-off the different ways for your Sims to rise to fame! Conners will also be taking questions about the expansion during our live Q&A, so come prepared. You can submit your query at any time during the session by using the “Cover It Live” function at the bottom of the page.
